Approval points in the textile sourcing process
Before purchasing, approve the item or material specification and cost. Before making a custom sample, agree the design inputs and what the sample must test. Before bulk production, confirm the reference version, quantity split, packaging and order terms. Before forwarding goods, review the agreed checks and any issues that require supplier follow-up.
Keep changes in one dated record so the studio, buyer and supplier work from the same approved details. A changed fabric, dimension or color can affect cost, material availability and the sample reference. We clarify the effect and obtain agreement before the additional work or revised order proceeds.
A smaller first step is welcome
You can commission design, source a material or review a sample before deciding on a bulk order. Minimum quantities depend on the product, materials and production process. A sample or design commission does not commit you to a production order.
