Textile project service

In-House Textile Design Services & ODM Development

Our textile design services turn your idea into artwork, product appearance, sewing patterns and technical specifications with our in-house designers. Continue into sampling and partner production, or commission design as a standalone service.

What to send

  • The intended user and use case
  • A supplier link, material specification, design or sample
  • Planned quantity and unit, colors and destination
  • Details that are fixed and questions that remain open

What an initial review can clarify

  • Which information is still needed
  • The most important question for a first sample
  • Material or construction options worth comparing
  • The next scope that can be confirmed in writing

Turn an idea into a defined product

Start with a mood board, a use case, a rough sketch or details you want to improve. We discuss the intended customer, material feel, dimensions, construction and target positioning, then agree the design deliverables before work begins.

Choose the deliverables for your textile design services

Our internal design team can deliver artwork and pattern graphics, product appearance designs, sewing patterns and tech packs. A project can combine these outputs or focus on one specific need.

  • Artwork: motifs, repeat patterns and placement direction
  • Appearance: silhouette, proportions, color and visible details
  • Sewing patterns: agreed product shapes and construction pieces
  • Tech packs: measurements, materials, trims and construction instructions

Agree revisions and ownership in writing

The design quote defines the number of initial directions and revision rounds, file formats, approval stages and delivery schedule. Usage rights, exclusivity, source-file delivery and any third-party artwork licenses are confirmed in the written scope. New directions or extra revisions are quoted before additional work.

Use sampling to test the design

A drawing can specify the intended result; a physical sample helps review fabric behavior, fit, proportions and finishing. Sample making, materials and delivery are quoted separately unless explicitly included. We record feedback and the approved version before moving toward production.

Continue through ODM production

For an ODM project, Spulora develops the design and coordinates sample execution and manufacture with a suitable production partner. You approve the final specification, sample and commercial terms. Our team manages production communication, the agreed quality checks and shipping arrangements.

Design-only projects are welcome

You can commission the agreed design deliverables without committing to manufacture through us. If you already have a production-ready design, the OEM production-management service may be a better starting point. We identify any missing information before adding development work.

A design commission can combine artwork, appearance, sewing patterns and a tech pack. The quote identifies the files, revisions and usage rights included.

Common questions

Plan with the Important Variables Visible

Do you use in-house designers?

Yes. Our internal designers can develop artwork, product appearance, sewing patterns and tech packs. Deliverables are selected for each project.

Do I need to know whether my project is OEM or ODM?

No. Send the idea, design files or sample you already have. We help identify the design, sourcing and production work your project needs and explain it in the quote.

What is the difference between OEM and ODM here?

With OEM, you provide the design or usable specifications and we coordinate manufacture. With ODM, our team develops the design before sampling and partner production. We clarify any overlap in the project quote.

Can I buy only the design service?

Yes. Design can be commissioned separately. The agreed scope states which files and usage rights you receive, the revision rounds and the fee.

Is sampling included in the design fee?

Only if the quote says so. Physical samples, materials, extra revisions and sample shipping are listed separately when they are outside the design scope.
